Redondo Beach will observe Veterans Day 2022 at the Veterans Memorial in beautiful Veterans Park by the Redondo Pier.

The ceremony will begin at 1PM on Friday, 11th of November.

The event will include reflection and remembrances, commentary and honors to all those who have served in the US Armed Forces and wore the uniform of their country.

Keynote speaker is Chief Master Sergeant Willie Frazier, Senior Enlisted Leader, Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base.

Mayor Bill Brand of Redondo Beach will provide a civic greeting.

State Senator Ben Allen and LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell will make comments.

Other elected officials and military dignitaries will participate.

A veteran from the community will be presented the American flag from the Memorial during the Tribute.

Music provided by the 562nd Air Force Band, The National Guard Band of the West, Channel Islands Air National Guard Base.

The Coastal Naval Sea Cadets, Redondo High Marine Corps Junior ROTC and the Scouts are supporting the Redondo Beach Veterans Day Tribute.

Donations and contributions are still being accepted for the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial.

Sponsorships available along with the purchase of Memorial Bricks.

The event will be followed by a BBQ hosted by the Redondo Elks Lodge # 1378 in the Elks parking lot south of their building adjacent to Veterans Park.

The BBQ is free to all veterans and members of the military, police officers, firefighters.....
A $5 dollar donation from all others.

Veterans Day in Redondo Beach is open to the public. Media invited.
